1977-1989

Budding & Establishment

  • 1977: CFC was founded and it began with bulk mixed fertilizer production.
  • 1978: The company was officially registered on March 5.
  • 1978: Dato Yap Lai Seng personally designed and manufactured fertiliser mixing machines, primarily relying on manual labour to produce bulk mixed fertilisers.


By precisely adjusting the ratio of raw materials based on customer demands, this laid a solid market foundation for the company.

1990

Seedling and Germination

  • 1990: The introduction of mechanized equipment marked the start of round-shaped granular fertilizer production, signaling the company's entry into the industrialization phase.
  • 1990: Focused on the production of compound NPK fertilizers, bulk blended fertilizers, and granular fertilizers, continuously improving product quality and production capacity.

1990 - 2005

Early Growth, Solid Foundation

  • 1990 to 2005: We established a nationwide sales network, perfected our supply chain and customer service system, and engaged in technological innovation and market expansion, laying a solid foundation for future development.
  • 2005: Registered with Ministry of Finance.

2006 - 2009

Rooting and Consolidation

  • 2006:  Obtained ISO-9001:2000 certification  and established a comprehensive quality management system to enhance market competitiveness.
  • 2007: Upgraded the research and development laboratory, introduced systematic equipment, and operated it with experienced professionals, further enhancing R&D capabilities.
  • 2009:  Launched EFB organic compost and biochemical organic fertilizer (microbial inoculant organic fertilizer), providing innovative solutions for environmentally friendly agriculture.
  • 2009: Obtained ISO-9001:2008 certification to ensure continuous optimization of product quality and management standards.

2010 - 2012

Growing and Preserving Our Legacy

  • 2010: The second generation, Yap Boon Meng, officially joined and took over the company, implementing a new management system, reshaping the brand image, and driving sustainable development.
  • 2010: Upgraded production technology to semi-computerized control, significantly improving precision, and began the production of extrusion granulated fertilizers.
  • 2012: Completed building a new factory.

2012 - 2015

Thriving and Innovative

  • 2012 to 2014: The R&D team launched three high-end products—M1, MPOB F6, and Pemangkin, offering farmers more efficient solutions for crop yield enhancement.
  • 2014: Obtained Indonesia's SNI 2803:2012 certification, successfully entering the international market.
  • 2014: Leveraging the rich experience accumulated in the planting industry and its unique skill of "communicating with trees", the company was able to  customize appropriate fertiliser formulas to provide more professional solutions, further establishing itself as a technical benchmark in the industry.
  • 2015: Achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, reinforcing our commitment to continuous improvement in product quality and management excellence.
  • 2015: Won the "Golden Eagle Awards (Excellent Eagle)," further solidifying its industry-leading position.

2019-2020

Diversifying and Growing

  • 2019: Focused on organic and microbial fertilizers, responding to environmental protection needs.
  • 2020: Expanded into planting, including various crops such as palm oil, dragon fruit, and pineapple, as well as into the livestock sector, extending into the entire agricultural industry chain.

2020 - Beyond

Thriving and Heritage

  • 2020: Fully acquired the shares of other shareholders, further integrating resources and businesses.
  • 2020: The third generation, Yap Zhen Yun, joined the company management, preparing talent for future competition and injecting new ideas to ensure the company remains a leader in a highly competitive market.
  • 2025: On going process in setting up a new factory.
  • 2025-2026: Comprehensive product optimization and upgrades, with continuous research and development of innovative products.
